STSA # 77: Safe April Fool’s Day Pranks

Something to Smile About

You’re welcome.

Shall I leave it at that? Just kiddin … though I will say that this list of April Fool’s Day pranks are fun, safe and sure to ‘get’ those you love (and maybe those you don’t).

Just remember, though, you did NOT get these from me (or from my friend Francis in Las Vegas).

Bet We Can Get You to Smile Again, Visit Epic Dental!

Super Soaker Kitchen
This is a good one for mom - if your kitchen sink has a spray nozzle, use a rubber band to secure it in the “on” position and then ask someone to get you a drink of water. When the water is turned on, they get sprayed!

Leave a Message
Take your friends cell phone and tape it under a chair, under a desk, or hide it somewhere safe and then start calling. Watch them try to find the phone.

Greasy Slippery Handles
Grease up door handles, keys, jar covers, and anything else you can safely smear hand lotion or vaseline on. This is a safe but disgusting prank. Just be careful where you smear this onto as to not damage anything.

Salt on the Toothbrush Trick
Wet your victim’s toot brush and then dab it into salt. Shake off the extra and place it back. It’s sure to be noticed — after they start brushing. Safe and harmless and fun!

More Salty Tricks
Replace sugar with salt - Imagine the look on everyone’s face when they add it into coffee, tea, or cereal. It’s absolutely safe and definitely will wake everyone up in the morning!

Dude, Your Car!
Leave a note saying “I’m sorry, I hit your car!” The idea here is to lead your victim into believing that something happened to their car when in fact it didn’t happen at all.

There you go! Remember – you didn’t get these from me! Have a great April Fool’s Day!

Special thanks to our friends at Epic Dental for making this possible. Not a fool in that bunch at Epic! (Well, except maybe Donald for letting us do this every other Wednesday …)

STSA # 76: The Fundamental Laws of Parenting …

Something to Smile About

Howdy and Hello! Hope this finds you well as we start to see the first sweet signs of spring. I don’t know about you, but it’s been a long winter for us. My baby brother’s had it worse, though. They’ve had two young children holed up and trapped for days on end.

He sent me this. As mine are grown now, I’m little more wistful at them, but that’s not to say I totally miss these rules of parenting completely. :)

Bet We Can Get You to Smile Again, Visit Epic Dental!

The Nine Fundamental Laws of Parenting

1. The later you stay up, the earlier your child will wake up the next morning.

2. For a child to become clean, something else must become dirty.

3. Toys multiply to fill any space available. Don’t try to resist. You can’t argue with physics.

4. The longer it takes you to make a meal, the less your child will like it.

5. Yours is always the only child who doesn’t behave.

6. If the shoe fits…it’s expensive.

7. The surest way to get something done is to tell a child not to do it.

8. The gooier the food, the more likely it is to end up on and in the carpet.

9. Backing the car out of the driveway causes your child to have to go to the bathroom.

Thanks, baby brother. I remember when you used to torture our parents by adhering to these rules. What goes around, comes around!! (Actually, my baby brother had a big week, check it out in the links below).

Also remember, you can get latest, greatest deals, treats and news when you like ‘em on Facebook and/or start following us on Twitter.
