STSA: The Sermon
I was on the fence this time about whether to do something Halloween-related or not. We were never big fans of it around our house, but we did buy candy for other neighborhood kids.
So, rather than ghouls, goblins, spooks and specters, I give you an important lesson from the pulpit.
Everyone was hushed and stilled as the preacher began a rather fervent sermon this past Sunday.
‘Dear Lord,’ the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face.
‘Without you, we are but dust…’
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four year old girl voice, ‘Mama, what’s butt dust?’
Got something that makes you smile? Please, do send it along!
And, here, a few fun links for the season.
Big Smiles!
